INITIATIVES
CRIME PREVENTION CONFERENCES
CPANB proudly hosts a number of public education and awareness activities, such as our crime prevention conferences, to enhance community safety. These events bring together subject matter experts, academics, government and non-government participants, police and law enforcement, and community members to promote effective crime prevention through education and collaboration.
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER
CPANB aims to help mobilize communities, promote effective crime prevention strategies, encourage collaboration, support crime prevention through social development and reduce crime opportunities through public awareness and education. To meet these goals CPANB releases quarterly newsletters to update New Brunswickers on local intiatives.
LOVE SHOULDN'T HURT
As part of New Brunswick's Crime Prevention and Reduction Strategy, the Love Shouldn't Hurt campaign is educating and informing New Brunswickers about intimate partner violence and how we can all play a part in putting an end to this serious issue. CPANB partners with Fenety Marketing Services to create informational booklets for the public.
CRIME PREVENTION AWARDS
Each year, the Crime Prevention Association of New Brunswick and the Department of Public Safety recognize individuals and groups that are making significant contributions to community safety and crime prevention by presenting Awards and Certificates of Recognition every November.
